"About eighteen months ago we decided to up-grade
the energy efficiency of our three-year-old new home. This involved
the purchase of new high-energy efficient windows.
When
we had our home built the builder recommended double pane argon
filled eglass aluminum windows. These we were told were very energy
efficient. After two winters with these windows we knew we had made
a mistake in having aluminum windows installed. In our
opinion these builder grade windows turned out to be one level above
junk. Looking for the right window supplier was like looking for a
needle in a haystack because of the great number of window companies
in our area. After interviewing a dozen window companies
two times each, we finally made the right match. Our choice was
Brennan Enterprises out of Arlington TX.
Brennan's BBB rating was very high, they had been in business for
many years, and employed their own full time installation crews.
Brennan also had a full selection of high-energy efficient wood and
vinyl windows, both double and triple pane. After close scrutiny we
settled on
the Brennan Traditions window made by NT Windows out of Ft. Worth
TX. For us, this window in triple pane with a 366 argon filled
e-glass package, and foam filled frames, offered the most bang for
the buck in the market place.
In
dealing with the Brennan people we found our judgment of finding
honesty, integrity, and quality installation, was right on target.
With Brennan the entire process was a team effort to make sure the
finest product available for the money, was delivered and installed
properly.
In Dec 09 Kerry and Joseph had Frank and Pete install the first half
of our two-part window order.
With
this installation we experienced the great pleasure of what has to
be one of the best window installation crews in North Texas. Their
attention to detail was a real five star effort.
Last
year with our typical Texas winter and with no energy upgrades, our
highest monthly gas bill was around $230.00. At the time we felt
very good about this because all of our neighbors with their new
homes reported bills between $350.00 & $500.00 for their highest
month. Of course this was with all of us having these builder grade
double pane aluminum windows to live with.
In Jan
2010 we were in for a real surprise. It turned out to be the coldest
Jan in thirty years. To our greater surprise the Jan gas bill came
in at $155.00. Like with the old windows we had kept the heat
setting as follows. The front half at 68 and the cold back half with
the new windows at 68-night time, 70-day time. As it turned out this
triple pane Brennan-NT Window Traditions window is a real cold
stopper and big energy saver.
With
this kind of results we know we are on target to cut our monthly
energy bills for years to come, increase the resale value of our
home, and collect the government rebate check for energy upgrades.

energy efficient windows. The windows in our house were 27 years old
and not very efficient and costing us a lot of extra money in
heating and cooling expenses. It was the best experience I've ever
had, Sean our salesman came arriving when scheduled and gave a very
professional demonstration and quoted a reasonable price. I told him
I was also talking to three other companies and he stated I should.

efficiently and continually cleaned up after themselves throughout
the day. They worked one room at a time and inconvenienced us as
little as possible while still doing a very professional job. At
every step of the way the company gave honest answers and fulfilled
every obligation they made. Even when I had questions, a quick
e-mail to Susan in the office was always responded to quickly and
completely. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company to anyone
interested in having new windows installed. It was a true example of
good old American work/business ethic. No hard sell, no unrealistic
promises just good honest answers and work. They promised to fulfill
my needs with the best service possible and they provided it.
